Cognitive Behavior Therapy
for Adolescent Depression
Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) is an evidence-based psychosocial intervention for youth, with broad research support. In this course you will learn the concepts and skills that will enable you to provide effective CBT treatment to depressed adolescents. Interactive exercises, animated graphics, and video illustrations of techniques are used as teaching tools. Optional use of text messages to enhance treatment is available.

A certificate of completion will be issued upon completion.
The Center for Telepsychology is approved by the American Psychological Association to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. The cost of the course is $75.
The course consists of 8 modules covering the theory and practice of conducting CBT therapy for adolescent depression. A framework for structuring treatment is provided, as well as patient handouts and educational materials.
